Hi I'm Madison Gough

I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I go to school at BYU-Idaho and love my church with all my heart, might, mind, and strength!

About Me

My name is Madison, I'm the oldest of 6 children. I grew up in Houston, TX and love the big city! I graduated from high school, the class of 2012, and am now going to school at BYU-Idaho in the city of Rexburg. I hope to attend physician assistant school post graduation after I serve a mission. I have been called to serve in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission and report for training on January 15, 2014. I am very excited :) I enjoy playing volleyball, reading, and writing. I have been a member of the church all my life and I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and my parents taught me church doctrines and principles early so I have always had a foundation of faith. As I have gotten older, I have had to develop a testimony and belief in the church for myself. I am a Mormon because I know that Christ lives and that he loves me. I know that the Latter-day Saints have the restored gospel, and by following its teachings and the word of the living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, we can return to live with our Heavenly Father again one day.

How I live my faith

I believe that actions are louder than words. I live my faith by (trying) to be an example for those around me. I do not swear, drink, or wear revealing clothing. I attend my weekly church meetings and answer any questions anyone might have about my faith. I try to uplift those around me and remind them that they are children of God, and that he loves each and everyone of us.
