Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a husband and father of three. I'm an accountant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my best friend about eight years ago and we have three wonderful (and young) children. Our home is filled with laughter, toys and occasional tantrums, but with my wife at my side we somehow find a way to keep our sanity. Our kids mean everything to us and we love spending time with them. They teach us so much and help us understand why Jesus said that we must become like little children to inherit the kingdom of Heaven. I'm an accountant with a background in IT and I love what I do each day for work. When I'm not working I'm either studying or spending time with my family. There's not room in my life right now for much else but spending time with my wife and kids is the best hobby around.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because God has sent his witness to me and told me that this is Christ's church on the earth today. I know that God is a God of order and an unchangeable being and since He called prophets in the past he would continue to call prophets in our age. The prophets teach and testify of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and of His life and sacrifice for us. I know our church is led by a living prophet of God. He is a man comparable to Moses, or Noah, or Isaiah. He speaks the will of God on the earth and my life has been richly blessed as I have heeded the council of the prophet.

How I live my faith

My faith is a big part of my life. I start each day by studying the scriptures and praying to my Heavenly Father. Doing these things helps me to be a better husband and father because it teaches me more about my Savior, Jesus Christ. As I learn more about Him, I'm motivated to be more like Him. I have been given the responsibility to be an advisor to the leaders of a congregation of my church in my city. I attend their weekly leadership meetings and worship with them on Sundays. This responsibility requires sacrifice, as I'm often gone for several hours each Sunday, but my family and I are willing to do it because we feel like I am making a difference in building the kingdom of God in my city. It's a great blessing to serve others and feel like you are making a difference.
