Hi I'm Stefanie Snow

Yep, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Huntington Beach, CA. I grew up in Utah. I'm a piano teacher, graphic and floral designer, and lots of other things. I've worked a lot of different jobs and explored all sorts of hobbies, but one thing I've always been is a believing Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because the church runs deep in my family--we're talking pioneers here. So I was always taught how to love and serve God, and to recognize the Spirit when it tells me something is good and true. But while a foundation of faith is a great start, every member needs to decide for themselves what they believe and how to act on those beliefs. I have had countless experiences that have confirmed to me that this church is truly organized by God and is His means of spreading the gospel. I have felt it while reading the Book of Mormon, while learning in church lessons and discussions, while serving my brothers and sisters, while spending time with my amazing family, and while attending the temple. Most of all, I have felt God's love during periods of darkness and struggle, and I have felt His hand in my life through it all.

How I live my faith

To me, being a member of the LDS church=service. We learn a lot about how to be kind, merciful, and giving to those around us, because serving one another is the best way we can show God that we love him and that we believe in the atonement of His son. I really believe that all people are sons and daughters of God, and that knowledge takes me outside of myself and into their service when I let it. I've been asked to serve specifically with the women in my ward, and it's a calling that requires a lot of my time and energy. Through that service I've come to know and love amazing women and have hopefully had the opportunity to help them come closer to Christ. I've had many different responsibilities in the church, and each one has taught me how to be a better person and to love others. When I am living the principles of the gospel (including serving in the church) I am my happiest and most fulfilled me.
