Hi I'm Kelsey

I love people, I love the planet Earth, I believe a good laugh can cure anything, I'm an aspiring artist, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love to see beautiful things, and create beautiful things. I love to learn, experiment and just try things out! I truly believe in the saying that "there is no growth in the comfort zone, and there is no comfort in the growth zone." We have to get outside of ourselves if we really want to become something! I'm inspired everyday by the goodness of people, and the love that I've experienced in my life. I can't believe my eyes sometimes when I see the beauty of the Earth, we are so lucky and loved by our Heavenly Father! I believe the best thing in this whole world is being surrounded by the people you love! Making memories that will sustain us not only in this life, but forever! I love my family and friends so much, so it is important to me to cultivate these relationships! I believe they give us a small glimpse of what Heaven will be like... Isn't that beautiful?

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know it is Jesus Christ's true church once again on the Earth. I also know that I have a Heavenly Father! And He loves us SO much! I truly believe the words of modern day prophets. President Uchtdorf once explained that the ending to the book of our lives will exceed our greatest expectations! How could that be possible? When we let God guide our lives, everything is possible.

How I live my faith

When we're baptized, we make very real promises with God. We promise to always remember Him, to be an example of Him and to keep His commandments. So how do I live my faith? I keep my promises to God! And it doesn't end after baptism, so I keep the promises I've made in the Temple of the Lord as well. As I've kept my promises to God I've been blessed with peace of mind, strength, ideas, hope in the future, understanding of gospel truths, and determination to endure whatever comes my way. He always keeps his end of the deal. I know that His word is good, and that His blessings are within our reach. I believe there is room for each of us to improve each day. I MUST make changes in my life constantly if I want to be an effective daughter of my Heavenly Father. I want to work hard so I can become who He wants me to be! I also strive to help others whenever possible! I decided to serve a mission to share God's love with others. It became more than just something I wanted to do, I knew I needed to do it! And who knew I'd find myself on the Lord's errand in Iowa? When we find out God's will for us and do it, our true potential will begin to unfold. I know this is true!
