Hi I'm Ene

Ene means Mormon in the eternities

About Me

Aloha, My Name is Ene and currently am serving as a missionary of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Utah St. George Mission. I was born and raised in the LDS Church but decided on my own to be baptized at the age of 14. I am from the town of Laie and you can find me in the ocean at anytime of the day or night. I love finding hidden places in Hawaii, and I am really big into the street art scene. My family and I really enjoy geo-caching together and I pretty much love music because "...one good thing about music, is when it hits you feel no pain!"

Why I am a Mormon

....growing up I use to take The LDS Church for granted, always hearing people say they knew this or they had a testimony of that so I just claimed I knew the same things. Once I got older and started doing things not in line with the Churches teaching I started to struggle and only depend on myself. As I found myself one day down a dark dark road I got a visit from my Bishop and my Stake President. The two men brought the spirit into my life and I knew that day that these men were men called of our Heavenly Father. I know now that the atonement is a true change of heart that everyone is able to receive and has access to. I know that in this church we have the fullness of the gospel restored and the full power and authority of the priesthood back on the Earth. I am a Mormon because I know that no matter what we do in our past, it never holds us back from getting back to our Father in Heaven in the future!

How I live my faith

"The best measuring stick to a successful life is by how closely we follow in the footsteps of the savior"

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

My lifestyle as a Mormon is among the lifestyles of many others. I Still go to the beach, I still hang out with friends, and I still do most things that any other person in this world would do. Only exception for us "Mormons" is that we do our best to live the higher law, to always obey our Father in Heaven and keep His commandments. The way we live is the same as any other human would here on God's earth, by working jobs, attending school and taking care of our families. We also show love for our neighbors, do service where we can and continue to focus on our spiritual well being by constantly using spiritual CPR(church, pray and read) on our selves .
