Hi I'm Anna.

I am a social worker, working in the Mental Health field. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have my Bachelor's degree in Social work, and I work with individuals who have a mental illness. I love to garden (currently I'm growing tomatos, potatoes and cucumbers), read, listen to music, go to church and hang out with my friends. I have been memeber for over a year.

Why I am a Mormon

Before I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I felt like I was missing something in my life. I was experiencing many trials, and didn't feel like I could ever overcome them. One Sunday I decided to go to church (both my mother and little sister are members). The feeling that I had sitting there listening to the hymns and the testimonies was undescribable, but I left there feeling so much comfort and peace. That's when I knew what I was missing in my life. I was missing Heavenly Father and the Savior if my life. I always considered myself a believer in God, but I wasn't showing or living that faith/belief. Ever since I made the commitment to live my faith and to live righteously, I have been so much happier. I have grown spiritually, which has shown through in my daily life. I have had people say to me that they have noticed my increased confidence. Without Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ I know that this growth would not be possible. I know that the Savior lives, and that Heavenly Father loves each of his children, and wants us to be happy. He has provided a way for us to achieve this through the Plan of Happiness.

How I live my faith

I'm extremely blessed to be called to serve to teach the children in my ward. It's a wonderful experience. I see every Sunday God's pure love for all his children, when I look into each of the children's faces. They are loving and humble as our Savior Jesus Christ is. I try each day to live a righteous life and follow the commandments. I know that if I do this, then I will be happy.
