Hi I'm Larry

I'm a Mormon. I was born in ohio. Lived in Florida 15 yrs. Was a merchant seaman for 30 years

About Me

I am now retired after 30 years of sailing ore boats on the Great Lakes, and working 15 years as a security supervisor. I have two step boys grown, and 3 young step grand children. At the present time I enjoy doing missionary, and other work for the Church. I like to swim, and go bowling for hobbies.

Why I am a Mormon

I have gone to many churches when I was a young boy. I did not feel the spirit until one day a new friend invited me to his church. The Mormon church, and i said, why not I been to others they are all the same. When I came to the Mormon Church and sat down, and listened to testimony, and how happy, and friendly every one were, I was overwelmed with the feeling of the spirit. I was 12 years old, and I never went to any other church than The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Every time I pray or go to church I feel the spirit of the Holy Ghost. I feel vary blessed.

How I live my faith

I have a missionary calling. I do home teaching, I help the Sisters, and Elders in there teachings. I help feed the needy at the churches food warehouse. I help members in need if I am able. I feel the spirit every time I do work for our savior Jesus Christ.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Mormons believe the Holy Bible is the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. The King James translation of the Bible, defines the gospel as the good news that Jesus Christ has made a perfect Atonement for mankind that will redeem all mankind from the grave, and reward each individual according to his or her works.
