Hi I'm Kimberly

I am a wife and mother of six children. One daughter and five sons. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of six children. My oldest child is a girl followed by five boys. They keep me on my toes. While my children are in school, I provide child daycare for two young boys. My days are full of naps, diapers and feedings. I come from a large family. I have three older brothers, two older sisters, one younger sister and a younger brother. In my rare spare time, I enjoy crochetting baby blankets, puzzles and other mind teasers, like sudoku. I love spending time with my family. We like to go on bike rides, go swimming in the local pool, playing football at the park and taking walks together.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It has been an ancher my whole life. As a child, my family lost a family member. My baby sister died at a very young age. Even though I was very young at the time, I remember it to this day. I am so grateful to have parents that taught me at a young age that family can be together forever. That, someday I will see my baby sister again. That knowledge has brought me great comfort my whole life. I know I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and knows who I am. That all of my trials in life can help me to grow and become the person my Heavenly Father knows I can become. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. That He died for me and suffered for my sins, so that I can return to heavenly home and be with my family for all eternity. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. My knowledge of the Savior comes from the pages of the Bible and the Book of Mormon together. I feel peace when I read from the pages of my scriptures. I know that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God. I am grateful for the sacrifices his made. I know we have a living Prophet on earth now. President Thomas S. Monson. I am filled with a feeling of warmth when I hear him speak. I know my life is better because of the gospel of Christ. My life has meaning and a purpose. I am truely blessed.

How I live my faith

As a member, I serve with the young women in our branch. I am the First Counsellor in the Young Womens Organization. Some of my responsiblities include teaching lessons on Sundays, activities with the young women on Wednesday evenings. Taking them to Church dances and other activities in our area. I also do a visiting teaching mailing list. I send our Branch Relief Society Newsletter to the women who are unable to come to our meetings.
