Hi I'm Brayden Robert Newman

I live in Utah, I have a wild imagination, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a large family of ten people: 2 parents, 5 boys, and 3 girls. I have a wild imagination and love to be dragged away by it. I love sports and will play any of them, except for swimming. I can swim decently, but a near-drowning experience has caused me to be afraid of water. I am an Eagle Scout and I have built a podium out of Brazillian Cherry for my Eagle Project. I love working with my hands and with materials, which is perfect at my dad's woodworking shop. I also love life, nature, and animals and often find myself outside in my spare time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. My parents never forced me to go to church, but their attitude towards church caused me to be curious about it. Over time and through prayer, I have gained a testimony of my own and I know that this church is the true church that was restored through Joseph Smith Jr. I know that a prophet lives on the Earth today, and that is Thomas S. Monson.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the first councilor in the Teacher's quorum. It is my duty to prepare the sacrament every Sunday and serve as an usher to maintain a peaceful feeling in the church. I also help pass the sacrament when there are not enough deacons to fulfill the job.
