Hi I'm Stephanie Mott

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was Born and raised here in Utah and i was raised in a very good home with loving and kind parents! I have 2 older brothers and 2 older sisters I was adopted when i was 3 by my grandparents, due to some bad choices my biological mother made! I have 2 younger brothers and a younger sister from my biological mother! I got married when i was 19 to my husband, we at the time had an a amzing little 4 month old baby girl and she was the light of our life she still is right along with her baby sister bother girls are now so grown up and doing wonderful in school! My husband and I hope to see them not make the same problems for themselves as we made for ourselves, but sometimes you have to just step back and watch them fall even though its not what you really wanna do! My husband and i moved to Spanish Fork in 2007, we both grew up close to here and after living in springville and orem finally were able to get our home in spanish Fork we love it here even though i think this wonderful City has Chicago matched for a title of "windy city"

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a VERY active Latter day saint family, My grandfather had been a bishop and a stake president, so we always went to church! As I got older and what i thought was wiser i rebeld against my parents and fell into being inactive for quite some time! Then in December 2011, I made a promise to my 2 amazing little girls that i would quit smoking and drinking and start taking them to church I realized after all there pleadings and a letter to Santa..... " please help mommy and daddy not smoke anymore" was all i needed to kick myself and really start living the way i was raised! I started praying each night and gradually starting reading my scriptures again until now it just happens everymorning and i Love it I start my day with paryer and scripture time and i have never felt more love from my savior and protection from him knowing that this is truely the right place for me to be and to have my children, our girls have made such great friends with the children in our ward and they get invited to the primary activities everymoth now!! My dear friend and neighbor Laura Morrey had quite possibly the most influence on me for wanting to go back to church we had both wanted to for so long that we finally agreed that if one or the other of us went so would the other finally the week just befor Christmas was when my family offically began attending church on a regular basis again! I will never forget all the wonderfull people that came and welcomed us, and let us know who they were! since that sunday i have only missed 2 sundays and I have loved everymoment of my spirtual upliftment since that day, I have even taught in relief society and primary on a substitute basis and thourghly enjoyed it!

How I live my faith

Every sunday we go to church and listen to the speakers and our lessons then we come home and in keeping with the sabbath day we listen to uplifting music or watch uplifting movies! the girls go monthly and do activites with the youth and so do my husband myself in our respctive groups!
