Hi I'm Amber Spradlin

I grew up in Arkansas. I am studying elementary school education at BYU. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a university student studying Elementary Education in order to become an Elementary School teacher. I am passionate about dancing, especially ballroom dancing. I have been known to dance in Walmart just for the fun of it. When I was in High School I was in plays like The Hobbit, and Flowers for Aldranon, though I never got a major role. I love to act, especially when it comes to improvisation. At this time most of my time is dedicated to school. I come from a large family of 15, but that is only because we are a mixed family, both of my parents had been previously married with kids of their own before they met, fell in love and got married and had me and my sister Natalie. They are all my siblings and I love each of them. We defiantly have our differences, but that's a part of life! My family means the world to me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that it is God's church on the earth today. When I study the Book of Mormon and other scriptures I can feel God's love for me. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is what gives me strength when I am going through trials, and when life is good. I know that my Heavenly Father knows and loves me, and I know that this church is where He wants me to be because this is where his priesthood is and this is where I can lean what I need to do to return to His presence.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day! Living my faith means that I show charity to all, I love my family and put Jesus Christ first in my life. It is in the everyday things, in praying, studying scriptures, being honest in my school work and every day activities. I also try to give as much service as possible, which can be difficult when my life is so busy, but I sure can do what is in my power to serve my fellow man. I am by no means perfect which means that I constantly repent and go to my Savior Jesus Christ for forgiveness, then I try again to do my best at keeping the Commandments. I keep the Sabbath day holy, which to me means I attend church and fill my time by talking with family and friends and studying from the scriptures.
