Hi I'm Daniel

I am a recently graduated Engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was never a top-of the line student, but after a lot of extremly hard, undescribable work, I finally got my degree in mechanical engineering in the end of 2011. I am a volunteer firefighter, very passionat about it. I love languages, I speak fluent Finnish, Swedish and English, furthermore I know Greek, Russian and Spanish. I love to meet people from other parts of the word. And I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother joined the church when she was 18 and my fathers parents joined the church after the war. Although all of us were brought up in the church, all of my family members do now not take active part in church life, but I do, I absolutly love the gospel. We believe that everyone can choose what to do. Regardless, I love all of my family and I enjoy to spend quality time with them. The older I grow, the more I start to value and absolutly love the gospel. During the years of 2003-2005, I was a missionary in Greece & Cyprus, this time means a lot to me and I like to share some of my missionary stories with friends. I am not a Mormon because my parents are. I am a Mormon because I believe it with all my heart and mind, and I love it. It gives me more than I give it!

How I live my faith

It is in everything I do. I pray, I ask for guidance in my life and in the choices I make. I read the scriptures, I listen to the words of the prophet and the apostles. I absolutly believe in the gospel with all my heart. I take the commandments seriously and try to follow them at my best. If I have an attitude problem or temptations, I pray. I thruly feel that it enriches my life and that I get so much out of it. Once in a while, I like to take some time out and visit the temple. I live in a city with a small branch (congregation), so I often go out to help the missionaries. I serve in a leadership position in our small assembly (2nd concelor to the branch president). We get to talk in church quite often, since we are limited in numbers. Good thing I like to talk.
