Hi I'm Chaz Crismon

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have one son. I am a real estate professional, substitute teacher, and stay-at-home dad. My international relations degree and MBA built on the global experience I had serving a LDS mission in the Caribbean. Now I enjoy the great diversity and activity of big city life on the East Coast, but I miss my family out West.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in to an LDS family with strong ties to the Church from early in its history. In high school my faith was challenged a bit (and still is on a lesser scale), but I came to realize that I am happy when I live the gospel and stay close to the Church. Any unhappiness I ever experience is usually due to slipping away from teachings I know to be true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a tremendous blessing to my family. My son absolutely loves going to church... and I am pretty sure he will continue to enjoy it as he gets older and participates in activities I enjoyed. Not the least of which is Cub and Boy Scouts.

How I live my faith

I live the Golden Rule as best I can... treating others as I would hope to be treated by them. Plus trying to do a little more where it can make a difference. Followers of Jesus Christ should do all they can to be good to others in their personal and professional lives. I do not always live up to the high standards set by the Gospel, but I appreciate a church organization that asks you to do more and be better.
