Hi I'm Petri

I am from Finland, I love God and I know he loves me and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey, I am known as Petri in Finland and Snow Storm in the United States. I have three siblings. I am a missionary in Texas Houston South Mission. I love being a missionary in Texas. I love going to sauna and relax in there :) I have done several sports in the past. I played flute for eight years and wrestled for two. I love music and dancing. I am a High School gratuade, after that I served in The Finnish Military for 12 months. I am a missionary now but after my mission I want to study either business, psychology or medicine. I had an opportunity to be a cheerleader for a while. It was fun. My favorite sports are dancing, snowboarding, longboarding, skateboarding and soccer. I would love to try surfing, go to play golf in Kytaja and beging Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or Muy Thai. I love taking pictures with my camera. I love cool pictures, art and music. The goal of my pictures are to make people happy and enjoy life. I love studying the scriptures and one of my favorite scriptures is found in Acts 3:5. I love my family and friends. They give me a lot of support and happiness. I try to spend as much time with my loved ones as I can. I want to be happy and successfull in life and do what is right and good. Love God and serve others is my motto :) "Elamamme on paras kokemus jos teemme sen noudattamalla Jumalan kaskyja ", Vanhin Tuisku. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight years old. When I was eighteen, I recieved a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel by reading the Book of Mormon and asking God if it was true. God answered my prayer, I felt his love and I wanted to act on the prompting I received. That is why, right now, I'm serving as a fulltime missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ in Houston Texas South Mission. God gives different gifts to His children, and one of those gifts He has given me is a gift of Faith. I have seen this gift grow as I have read the holy scriptures and prayed to Him. My faith in Jesus Christ has helped me to keep His commandments and work hard in my life. It gives me the strength to go forward in all diligence. I love my Savior and the gospel that he restored back to the earth through Prophet Joseph Smith and now it is available for every nation, kindred, tongue and people. I love being a mormon because Jesus Christ is the head of this church and he has given us apostles and prophets in these days and He has revealed his will through them. I am thank full for revelation that everyone can recieve and I am not led astray and I can be happy in my life by living the gospel. I worship the only true and the living God. I know that he lives and "He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believed on his name shall not perish but have an everlasting life", Joh 3:16-17. Jesus Christ lives and I am blessed to be one of his true disciple and act under his name.

How I live my faith

I am a full time missionary and I help God's children come unto Christ. I love the callings that I have held in the church and I have learned great things from them. In my mission, I have learned how to teach people and help them to understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ better. I learn every day and I am happy to know the mysteries of God. I study the scriptures daily and I keep the commandments that God has given us. I live my Faith by sharing the gospel to others. Paul taught us that Faith with out works is death. I want to show my Faith by my works as Paul said. Jesus Christ has set the example for us what to do. As a disciple of Jesus Christ I do what He would want me to do. I follow him and enjoy the road with him and share it with my brothers and sisters. It is not sometimes easy to walk the road, but when He gives me a challenge it is the trial of my Faith. I am happy when I can turn to God often in prayer and ask his divine guidance. He helps me to come closer to him, feel his love for me and know that he wants to help me. The scripture in Joshua 24:15 when Joshua speaks to Israelites and tells them that He and His family serves the lord. I could say the same thing. I want to serve The Lord. :) When I serve Him, it makes me happy.
