Hi I'm Chris

I'm from California. I'm a songwriter and singer and guitarist and drummer and so on. I'm totally a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Chris, I'm 20 years old, and I kinda like music! I'm a huge fan of the Beach Boys and Beatles and a long list of others. Some friends turned me on to playing guitar in middle school, and ever since it has been a huge part of my life. Whether jamming with my brothers, friends, or by myself, it's my favorite thing to do. I'm no famous rockstar, but I'm crazy about singing, playing, and writing and recording music. I have 2 wonderful parents and 4 siblings. I started out in California, then moved to Star Valley, Wyoming with my family when I was 14. I graduated from Star Valley High School in 2010, and went to a semester of college at BYU-Idaho. I completed and released a homemade album of 12 songs, "It's Pretty Wild!", in February of 2012. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary of the church in Michigan- God's country.

Why I am a Mormon

Thanks to the church, I have an understanding of life and who I am and what I must do. My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and God's plan for us provides me with peace and happiness every day, as well as direction and motivation. Heavenly Father loves us infinitely and has given us so much. He restored His church to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. This means that we once again have prophets and apostles who are men called of God to reveal his word and lead us to Christ. God has once again given man the priesthood, or the authority to do God's work on Earth. The words of the modern Prophet are scripture for our day, just as the Bible and Book of Mormon are scripture. Living the way God wants us to brings true happiness. Through the Atonement of Christ we can be reclaimed from sin and misery. There is no greater joy than repenting andbecoming a new and better person. If you have a desire to change, to be healed, or to know the meaning of life and the nature of your existence, turn to Christ. All pain, sorrow, and frustration can be swallowed up in the joy that comes from God. He has reached out to us once again and revealed His Gospel. How I live my faith

I live my faith every time I take a breath. Thanks to God I can take that breath, and it is my job to make the most of what I have been given. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary. This means that I leave everything behind for two years (home, friends, family, music, job, girls) to share my faith with others. It is truly the greatest time of my life. It is a sacrifice, but it is so very rewarding. I get to help people and I get to see the sweet joy that comes into their life as they draw closer to Jesus Christ.
