Hi I'm Scott

I'm thankful for life after divorce and I'm a mormon

About Me

I was born in Arizona while my father served in the army in Arizona. I have lived the majority of my life in Utah and was born into the Mormon faith. I love the state of Utah and enjoy living here. I enjoy the four seasons and the beautiful scenery the state has to offer. After serving a mission for the LDS Church I was married and always thought life would be just grand. After the birth of our fourth child our marriage fell apart. If it were not for supportive parents and friends I’m not sure what road my life would have taken. I promised myself I would never give up on my children, always be there for them, be a part of their lives and remain their father which I have done. Today I am as close to them as ever and very grateful for their love and growth. Several years ago I met a wonderful woman who had three children. We had a lot in common and everything seemed to fall into place. We are scheduled to be sealed in the Temple this coming week and I cannot begin to express my feelings and happiness to her and my father in Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

As I mentioned before, I was born into the faith with good loving parents and rode the coat tails of good people for along time in my life. I served a mission and upon reading the Book of Mormon and feeling the spirit while teaching people helped me realize the truthfulness of this gospel. I believe there is life after our time here on earth, and I also believe we lived before we were born into this life.

How I live my faith

Today I serve on the High Council in my Stake. I feel I am still growing and learning and being part of this group of Priesthood holders has been a blessing to me and my wife and family. I live my faith everyday of my life now. It’s thoughts of family, prayer and the challenges that I face each day. I see the world and the direction it has taken with government and the problems facing the world and I’m thankful that I have chosen to live a life that has spiritual overtones to it on a daily basis.
