Hi I'm Stephanie

I'm from Georgia and I love to longboard and laugh. I want to help families be forever families! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm getting ready to be married to my best friend and love that I met when we both served missions in the Utah Ogden Mission. I am getting my degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at BYU. I am passionate about the things I do and because of my faith, I now find joy and excitement in living. I find the greatest joy in losing myself and serving others. It's not easy, it's a constant effort, but it's what I need to do to be fulfilled and to grow. My family is the most important thing to me. My parents are dedicated and loving. I can't recall one instance in my life where I've seen them fight or argue. Only the true gospel of Christ can do that. I have a humble yet strong amazing older brother and four younger sisters. They are all my closest friends. I love to hike, sing, listen to music, and just chill and do things where I can have one on one time with someone I love. I want my life, actions, thoughts, words, countenance to reflect my testimony and love of my Savior Jesus Christ. Because He did save me and I can feel Him carrying me through my life as long as I am doing my part. Work is worth it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because it's true. I know that it is true and that the knowledge we have in the Church of Jesus Christ is the only way to have lasting happiness and progression, to return to dwell with our loving Father in Heaven. I'm a Mormon because at a time in my life when I felt like I could never feel real happiness again, I decided I needed to know. I needed to feel for myself that God is there, that Jesus is the Christ, that we do have a modern day prophet who leads and guides His church today, and that this is the way I should go. God answers prayers, He leads us and beckons us home with open arms always, and it is never too late to turn to Him, to change. In the Book of Mormon, the ancient prophet Nephi taught, "For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do." (2 Nephi 25:23) God's grace means more than His mercy...it means a literal "enabling power" that God will give to us as we do all we can to follow what He asks us to do. We can make it only through Him that loved us and the way has been paved. God sends us the power to do and become all that we can be. I've come to know that myself because I have experienced it and lived it. I invite you to put the effort forth to know for yourself.

How I live my faith

I live my faith now by preaching it all day everyday. I've found the greatest joy in serving a full time mission to invite others to come unto Christ, find faith, repent, be baptized, receive the holy ghost, and endure in faith by living as Christ did. I am only happy when I am doing as Christ would do. I seek to uplift those around me because I want for them to know the happiness that I know. I will return home from my mission soon and I want to continue sharing the knowledge I have with others that they can partake in the blessings and happiness I know.
