Hi I'm Riley

I like sailing, I like a good sandwich, people need to be happy, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like sailing, river rafting, motorcycling, videogames, playing music, geography, cooking, learning, and spending time with friends and family. I like traveling, I like Spanish, and I like movies. I love my three siblings, and my mum and dad, and we have a tight family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always believed that seeking happiness was the purpose of our lives. I have always tried to do things that filled my life with enjoyment, and other beautiful things, like music, and adventure, and so forth. I have also always believed that we are happiest in our families and serving others. I am a member of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I am sincerely happy in living in this way because of the example of my parents have given me, and how they raised me in a loving and selfless style. In our home we grew up not only hearing, but living the teachings of Jesus Christ, which cause life to be better in every way, and they prepare us to meet him in the next life. In my life I need the principles of faith and repentance so I can change and become a better person daily, and so I can serve others and be a better exaple to those around me, so together we can learn and grow, and use our lifes effectively, and become happier together. The happiness that the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ offers is something that I cannot imagine my life without. I am sincerely grateful for my life, and this beautiful opportunity to learn and change, and for the wonderful things we can do, and be grateful for. I cannot deny that Jesus Christ is real, and He does live and knows and loves me. I am also so moved by the sacrifices that the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints make, and to see how much this gospel means to them, and how greatly it has blessed their lives also.

How I live my faith

Apart from attending church on Sundays, I pray daily, and try to learn more from the scriptures every day. I relate everything back to the gosple and my purpose here on earth. Everything makes more sense with the eternal perspective. I like serving others and doing things that bring more joy to those in need of it.friend. I try to so what I am supposed to. I served for two years as a missionary for the church. I find joy in obeying my parents and church leaders, and loving others as Jesus would. I often pray that I might feel a part of Our Heavenly Father's grand love for the people around me. I try to follow the good examples of the faithful leaders and brothers and sisters I have at church in being humble, obedient, and faithful, honorable, loving, and kind.
