Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a story teller, a "Movie Buff", I love my Mom, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey! I'm from South Jordan, UT, and am a college student up at BYU-Idaho! I'm a movie fanatic, and love a good book. I love getting out and doing stuff, and can't wait to get out of school and go camping. I work for an IT company out of Salt Lake, and served in the Texas Houston South Mission. I love life, and love being a Mormon!!!

Why I am a Mormon

Like I said, I was born into the church, and baptized when I was 8 (like most children in the church). But over the years life has made things a little more real to me. My parents divorced when I was 14, and the years that followed have brought with them trials that have helped shape my testimony. Being a member of the church has brought me the perspective I've needed to face my challenges and still have hope in life. It brings me so much peace to know that every blessing the Lord wants to grant unto us is available because His church is once again on the earth. When I was 17 I read through the Book of Mormon on my own and took the time to pray about it and the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that the Lord not only heard my prayer, but answered it. This is His church, the Book of Mormon is true, and Joseph Smith is His prophet. All anyone needs is to pray with real intent and ask the Lord. He wants to hear from us as His children, and wants us to know the truth for ourselves.

How I live my faith

Even though I've grown up a member of the church in Utah, there are still a lot of things that go on that aren't in line with my standards. Time and time again I've been placed in situations that test my faith and require me to make a choice. I'm far from perfect, but try to do all I can to hold fast to my beliefs regardless of the situation. Once you've tasted of the joy brought by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it brings with it a sense of duty and desire to defend what you know to be true.
