Hi I'm Brad

Remember that trials in life are simply steps along the stairway to heaven.

About Me

I like to view myself as a simple person. I grew up in California in the home of 2 amazing parents. I met an amazing girl, got married, and moved to Utah for school. I'm currently a full-time student, full-time husband, and full-time dad of 2 1/2. Our amazing family continues to grow both in size and commitment to our love of the gospel. I graduate in April of 2013 with the hopes of moving on to law school in the fall of 2013. I'm a very happy and lucky man. I am truly blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents converted as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints before I was born. I was privileged to grow up in a home where strong values were extremely important. When I was 12 I began to reflect on the principles my parents had instilled in me. I began to ask my Heavenly Father if these lessons and doctrines were indeed true. On a week long campout with a group of young men, my answer came. I received the strong yet simple confirmation from the Spirit that the gospel had been restored. I received a witness that the Book of Mormon is a true book of scripture, preserved for us to be an additional witness of the mission of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The Spirit bore witness to me that there was a prophet on the earth today. That moment in my life is so important. It has since become everything that I base my life upon. It has been an amazing comfort to know that no matter the mistakes that I make, the Savior is there with outstretched arms waiting my return provided is simply repent.

How I live my faith

We as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints share a simple responsibility. When we receive our personal witnesses regarding the truthfulness of the church, we must share that with others. Whether it's through responsibilities with our congregation or just talking with our friends, we are to share the wonderful news that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth. Currently I have the chance to work with the young men in my congregation. It is so amazing to witness the growth of the boys as they gain a more intimate relationship with their Savior and Heavenly Father. It is so rewarding to listen to them pray and actually feel that they are talking to their Heavenly Father. They each are coming to know that he is there, waiting to listen, and waiting to help.
