Hi I'm Ryan

Serving a mission in Taiwan, Taichung

About Me

I love talking to people. I like to hang out with good friends, and I love being with my family and going on trips with them. We've been to New York, Hawaii, California, Mexico, etc. I graduated from Maple Mountain High School in 2011, I attended UVU where I earned an AS Degree of Science, and I'm now working towards a BS Degree in Emergency Services. I have been called to serve a Full-Time LDS Mission in Taichung, Taiwan. I can't wait to get out and serve the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this Church more than anything in this world, and the reason for that, is because this Faith is not of this world. This Church truly is the ONLY true Church on the Earth. We have such a wonderful opportunity to be here, living with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives. There is nothing, and no one that could ever convince me that this Church isn't true. I have such a strong testimony of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. I feel so much love and appreciation for what he's done for us, and all that he continues to do for us. I know that He is on the Father's right hand, watching over us and protecting us from the things of this world that could harm us. I can't wait to run into His arms and face to face, thank Him for all He's done. I also know that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God, as well as each and every other President of the Church have been true Prophets, Seers, and Revelators. I love the Church with all my heart, and I can't wait to share it with more and more people, so that they too, can know the beautiful things that the Gospel has taught me.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by trying to be an example to those around me. It's especially important now that I am a missionary and I literally bear our Saviors name on my chest. Before coming on a mission, I thought that "living my faith" meant that I personally should just keep the commandments and do my part... but I've learned an important truth as I've become a missionary. Living our faith, means that we ourselves not only keep the commandments and do our part, but we outwardly share the gospel with others. We constantly serve and uplift others. This is a very important Christlike attribute that we all must try to obtain, and I'm working my hardest on it right now!
