Hi I'm James

I'm a Mormon and I love my Saviour.

About Me

I grew up in a good community in a mixed family, as my parents were divorced when I was very young. I was unsure of myself and became secluded with no knowledge from my parents of anything wrong. I went to vocational school. to study horticulture and loved it, but not as a profession. I found myself loving to be a hotel clerk to greet so many new people and making them feel welcome in the hotel I work for.

Why I am a Mormon

I went to many churches. My family is diverse. I never found my belonging and lived my life. I didn't like how I was and cried to God. I was because of His mercy that He sent me missionaries. I tried to argue my beliefs, but the Holy. Ghost kept telling me to listen to them. No greater joy have I found! My sins are gone as well as fear of death and hell. No matter what I do I am a child of God. I thank my Saviour and strive to be His example to others.

How I live my faith

The Scriptures are my guideline, as well as prayer and fasting. I love my church. I have conducted the Investigators Class to those interested in the Gospel Principles. We're all seeking our purpose. My love for Jesus has prompted me to listen. The holy Ghost tells me when to act.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

James
The Church had come into my life when I had made a search of all the churches. I knew that Jesus was the Saviour, but I never actually believed that He cared for a sinner such as I. My upbringing in another Christian church never brought me the fulfillment of the sacred Gospel that I seeked. I scoffed at the church until the Holy Ghost personally told me to listen to the missionaries that were sent to me. The joy I received knowing that Jesus lives and that I am a child of God is and always will be central to my growth. The Prophet does not waver from the Scriptures, but clings to the unadulterated word of the Lord. He may be human, but hasn't been proven as a false prophet, in which the Scriptures warn us against.
