Hi I'm Ann

I'm a single adult, daughter, sister,Aunt, Great Aunt, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a Phlebotomist for 7 years. I love working with lots of people. I also play softball mostly. I starting umpiring this year. I also like to hike. I find that being in nature is where I am most myself. I love being around my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon, because it gives me the directions I need, to lead me to my Father in Heaven. My family was introduced to the gospel when I was 8. My mother and my twin sister joined. I was what most people call the white sheep in my family. My sister was the black sheep. I was happy being good. I learned from all her (mistakes) or so I thought. I was one who was going to be perfect all my life, because I was never going to make any mistakes. For all of you who never felt this way. I felt safe. I did not understand why anyone would choose to sin. Of course I was living one of the worst sins of all PRIDE. When I was 18 I made the decision to find out what I really believed. It wasn't over night that I slowly realized that I had a testimony. I decided to plan for a mission. This was some of the best studying of my life. I went on my mission. I enjoyed sharing the gospel with strangers. I often felt inadequit to be teaching these people. Some were versed in the bible. The lord gave me the words to say. I had moments of feeling lonely. I had companions who drove me crazy. For those who have not served, 24 - 7 with one person can cause some strain. These are the times where the lord helped me to go to him for help. I have made some of my best friends through learning to trust in the lords help. I could not of done it on my own. It has been many many years since my mission. There have been times where I have been really low. I have forgotten to trust in the Lord. The Lord loves me! So He has given me this life to make mistakes. So that I have to turn to him. I am so very thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ. That I can continue to learn and grow from his example. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good example to those who I am around. I found after coming home from my mission, that it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be to share the gospel. The gospel means so much to me. Yet I found myself afraid that I would say something wrong. So many people have said that we Mormon's can come across as pushy with the gospel. I found myself not saying anything for a time. The Lord new my heart. He started presenting situations where people would ask me the questions. I was able to answer them because I was prepared for them. I am so grateful for the opportunities to share the gospel with those I care about. I am so glad that people say to me Ann is a Mormon and she is one of the best people I know. I am not perfect in any way. I still struggle like anyone else. I pray that I will live everyday so that (you) will want to know the Savior, because you see how much I need and love him!!!!!!!!!!!!
