Hi I'm Mike

I live in Southern California. I work as a web designer and flash programmer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been a student for many years now, always trying to learn. My major has changed a few times, but I've settled with computer science, focusing on programming. I enjoy web development most, but I've written android apps, flash games, and some basic desktop applications. I'm also a fan of photography, videography, and digital editing. For the most part, my life revolves around Adobe. I love to watch movies, even though I criticize them a lot. If I didn't work in web development, I'd work with movies. I've filmed and edited a few small projects, but nothing too big.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know it to be the most complete Gospel, and to have the only true priesthood. I've gained this testimony through much prayer and consideration. I've read the Book of Mormon many times, as well as the Bible, and I know them both to be true as far as they testify of Jesus Christ and his atonement. They invite me to learn for myself of the truths that they preach, and the Holy Ghost has made it known to me.

How I live my faith

I attend my church services regularly, which means the three hours of normal Sunday classes, as well as some additional meetings I attend before church as I serve as the ward secretary. I enjoy spending time with those that share the same beliefs and morals that I do, and I am grateful to have the wonderful support and love that comes from being a member of a ward. The friendships that I've developed extend beyond just attending church services together; we often spend time playing video games or watching movies as a group. This all helps me be a better person as I try to live up to the standards of my Savior, Jesus Christ.
