Hi I'm Ben

I'm a Mormon, and proud of it.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona, and now live in Washington State. I work as a Civil Engineer, and my passion is solving problems related to water resources. I'm a father of active children and struggle to keep up with them and give them the attention they want. I enjoy playing racquetball, jogging, and throwing rocks with slings (the David and Goliath kind). I also enjoy camping, fishing, gardening, and I like to dabble into computer programming.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an active church going family, and was baptized when I was eight years old. My knowledge and faith has grown a lot since then. There have multiple times that I have felt my Heavenly Father's love and reassurance of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His restoration in these latter days.

How I live my faith

My faith has given me direction in my life as I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I am far from being perfect like Him, but I truly am trying to love others like He does. Reading the scriptures, I continue to learn and receive answers to things going on in my life right now. I feel that prayer has strengthened my relationship with my Heavenly Father, and I have also been able to improve my relationships with others. Serving in the church has been a blessing for me. I've realized that none of us are perfect, and we can really help one another in our journey here on earth.
