Hi I'm Brooke

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and now live in Utah. I love to run and do anything physically active! I attend Brigham Young University and love my school. I have been called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Spain Madrid mission from October 2013 to April 2014 and I am so excited!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life and choose to live the gospel because I have gained my own testimony. People may say that I am only a Mormon because that is how I was raised, but being raised in the gospel was simply a blessing I was afforded. I have had experiences in my life that have helped me gain a testimony for myself. I know for myself that the Church is true and I want others to be able to know that it is true. The Gospel has given me more happiness than I ever thought I could imagine. No matter what is going on in my life I have the Church to turn to and I know that everything will be alright in the end because of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and His restored gospel.

How I live my faith

The best way to live my faith is by obeying the church standards for others to see. Listening to good music and doing only the things I know are right. I attend religion classes at BYU that help strengthen me and help me get through whatever comes my way. I also attend a weekly worship service every Sunday. I encourage anybody who wants to know more about attending and seeing what these meetings are like to find a ward or branch near you or contact local missionaries and see what the church has to offer. It is an amazing thing to be able to participate in. Also, in addition to doing these ecclesiastical activities, I try to live the standards I have been taught each day, on my own, even when no one else is around to influence what I do.
