Hi I'm Nadine.

I grew up in So. Oregon. I'm a mom. I work at a small, community newspaper, and yes, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the managing editor and production manager at a family-owned, community weekly newspaper. I am the Jr. High school volleyball coach. I coach boys and girls club volleyball. I'm a mother of three wonderful children. My oldest is my son who just graduated high school. My oldest daughter is an honors student at the local high school and my youngest is a fifth grader at our elementary school. I have been to college, but have yet to complete it. It's one of my goals. I've been married for almost twenty years and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am grateful to be blessed to have been born where my parents were already members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was given the opportunity to learn what my parents believed and make the choice for myself to find out for myself if the teachings were true. I have taken the challenge in James 1:5 ("If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."). I found out that what I had been taught was, in fact, true. I have served a mission to New York and it strengthened what I knew further. Since then, I've married and had children and we follow the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ to the best of our abilities. I love my Heavenly Father and my Big Brother, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I've been blessed to work with young children, young women, as well as women my own age and older in several different capacities. Currently, I serve as a supervisor for our visiting teaching program that encourages women to take the opportunity to keep track of other women and help and support them where they can.
