Hi I'm Becca

I'm a die-hard Philadelphia fan. I'm a wife and Mom. I'm an ER nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in PA and after a few years living out west, I'm glad to be here for good. I am married and have a toddler who keeps me running! I've worked as a nurse for almost 5 years, 2 years in a neuroscience intermediate care unit and almost 3 in the ER. I love working in the ER because I am always learning new things. I also like being able to help people through scary situations and make it a little easier. I work part-time now so I can be with my son. I grew up with all brothers so I'm always defending myself and competing with them. I love dancing, watching movies, reading, and laughing with my son.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but I went through a period in my life when I wondered why I went to the LDS church and did the things I did. During this time I received confirmation after study and prayer that the LDS church is God's church and following it's precepts is the only way back to God. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God called to restore the fullness of the Lord's church for the modern day. I know that the Lord speaks through revelation today. I am comforted knowing that if I have questions or concerns, I can receive answers through prayer and studying the scriptures. I am grateful for this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I try and show my love to the Lord through serving His children. I visit women in my church on a monthly basis and attend to their physical and emotional needs. I also help teach the youth in our church. I look for ways to help my neighbors and friends. I am teaching my son how to help others and be a good example.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Becca
We, being human, are imperfect. God knew that we would make mistakes and that we would need someone to help us return to Him. Through Jesus Christ's atonement we can be forgiven of our sins when we sincerely repent. Without Christ as our Savior we could not return to be with God one day. Show more Show less
