Hi I'm Ben

I was born and raised in Utah, I have a love for the outdoors, and adventure. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah all my life, and it is awesome. I enjoy many things, but one of my favourite things to do has to be shooting. I started shooting probably around the age of 4 and instantly became attached to the activity. Travelling is another one of my kicks in life and I have been to a lot of places, but my personal favourite is probably England. Something that I've always been drawn to is adventure, now that can include a wide variety of things such as paragliding or flying in old World War 2 planes. I wouldn't consider myself an adrenaline junky because lets face it half the time when I am doing something awesome and adventurous I am terrified, but that is just part of the fun. One of the thrills from going on adventurous is actually being able to tell it to other people your stories afterwards, whether it be funny, spiritual or just down right stupid. I am 19 years old and have been called to serve in the Indianapolis Indian mission, and I will be speaking the Spanish language. I am so excited to serve the people of Indiana in the not too distant future.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for several reasons, one of which is i was born into the church and grew up learning the teachings of the gospel, but ever since i have started to study the scriptures and pray and ponder for myself my own testimony has flourished and grown stronger. I have been through a lot of trials and blessings in my life whether caused by choices i made or ones that i had no say in the matter but regardless i am thankful for every single one of them because they have strengthened and improved my knowledge and testimony to levels that would have never been possible without them. Although when it all comes down to it I am a Mormon because I believe in this church, not because I was raised in it or go to church every Sunday, but because of my faith in it and what I believe and know to be true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through various things. whether it be through blessing the Sacrament every chance I get or attending church on Sundays. One of the ways I have been living my faith recently though is preparing for a mission with missionary prep classes and studying the scriptures. I try and home teach regularly although sometimes that doesn't happen. There are also many things I do to live my faith that i sometimes overlook like praying daily, participating in ward or stake activities ( like playing stake dodge ball with some friends), or having morale standards that uplift and hold the gospel.
