Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of two children under the age of six. I work in the landscape industry. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a Associates Degree in Architectural CADD. My hobbies include Fly Fishing, Hiking, Camping, Gardening, and enjoying nature. I also enjoy visiting Civil War Historical sites and other historical sites. I have lived in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Virginia, Utah and Texas. Most of those States I have lived in multiple locations. I am the only member to convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from my immediate family however in my extended family there are just a handful.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints due to friends being friends. I grew up with some of the basic beliefs of the church however as I learned more about the church I began to understand and admire the views and doctrine. Family is and has been a big emphasis to me from just eating dinner together to large family reunions. I moved to Utah to return to school to gain a better education while I lived there I became more aware of the church and its beliefs by interacting with members and asking questions. However I did not become a member until after I moved from Utah and did some soul searching and made changes to better my life.

How I live my faith

I was a 14-16 year old young men's teacher and I am involved with the Varsity Scouts as their Committee Chair. On Tuesday nights I participate in youth activities. I help these young men to prepare for their future, to be a well rounded member of society and serve in their church callings. I also participate by checking in on select families each month as a home teacher. I have also taught with my wife a class of 3-4 year old's. We were given the opportunity to teach these children and broaden their education about Jesus, heavenly father and basic doctrine. I was also a Clerk and assisted the leaders of our ward in membership and finances record keeping. Being a participant in our ward has helped and blessed me and my family while my faith has grown with each duty/calling.
