Hi I'm Paula

I grew up in Utah and I joined the church when I was 21. I am a mother and wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4, 1 girl and 3 boys. I'm married to a carpenter. I love to read and do craft projects. And I love to go fishing with my husband and kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Utah. I didn't join the church til I was 21. I had contact with the missionaries and church. I can't tell you why but this time when the missionaries came, as they had before, I listened. I went to the LDS church and felt something. I went to the LDS Salt Lake temple grounds and felt something. And as the missionaries taught, I felt something. I learned what I was feeling was the Holy Ghost and it brought a peace I had never felt before. And I wanted more of it. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true. My prayers were answered and I knew that it was true because of what I was feeling. I was baptized and one year later I went as a missionary to share the truth and help others feel that peace I came to know. Why the change? Because of the peace and love of the Savior that comes from belonging to His Church that was set up and is being guided by Him. I love being a Mormon and having the peace that comes from knowing the Savior through His church.

How I live my faith

I do my best to start each day with prayer and scripture study for myself and my kids. I makes everyday so much better to have help from the strength of the Lord. I teach the lesson to the women of my ward(congregation) every 2nd Sunday. I love to meet together with the women and share our common experiences and beliefs.
