Why I am a Mormon

I know what I am saying when I say that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's Kingdom once again established on the Earth. I have a testimony of this. I gained it as I learned more about Jesus Christ reading from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Where would I been had it not been for my amazing parents raising me in the church? Where would I be had it not been for the teachings and principles that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? Where would I be had it not been for the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for me? Hard to say... We are all children of God. He knows us better than we even know ourselves. He knows exactly what we need and want to be happy. Hence, he has created the Gospel of Jesus Christ for us. He loves each and every one of us and He wants what is best for us. I know that God has a plan for me and following this plan will make me achieve the greatest happiness that I could ever want. Remember that we are all children of God. Never forget this!!!

How I live my faith

You better believe me when I say that I am serving a mission in the wonderful (yet flat) lands of Wisconsin. Serving the Lord is such a privilege. It's not just a religion; it's a way of life. And the best way for me!! We, as humans, all have one desire: happiness. There are many sources that we draw happiness from. The Gospel of Jesus Christ was specifically prepared for that. His sacrifice paved the way for us to return to Him. Jesus Christ served us in the best way possible so I do the same. I love serving my fellowmen. It's not about the service itself but the act of service that brings me such happiness. Seeing the happy faces of those that I interact with makes it such a wonderful experience that I wouldn't want it any other way. Through all of the heartaches, pain, and trials that each and every one us go through, there is joy, peace, and happiness that can be found if we just dig deep enough and put our trust in God.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Nick
God wants us to know about His Son, Jesus Christ. He wants to use every expediture possible for mankind to know that it is through HIM that we can be saved, that it is through HIM that we can have greater peace, and that it is through HIM that we can gain that greater happiness. God has prepared multiple sources for us to know that Jesus is the Christ. We have the Bible and the Book of Mormon. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a living prophet that speaks and preaches of Christ. We have the Holy Ghost to confirm in our hearts through our feelings thoughts and actions that Jesus is the Christ. We have the example of others and their testimonies that Jesus is the Christ. Our faith in Him grows as we apply ourselves to His teachings and experiment on the word. You can feel your faith grow because it's manifested in the works that you do and the outlook that you have on life. Show more Show less
