Hi I'm Corey

I was born and have lived in Minnesota most of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived most of my life in the upper midwest. I enjoy spending my free time in the ourdoors soaking in all the wonders God has put upon this earth. I am a manager at a small, college town theater. I love working with people of all ages.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I had hit a low point in my life and had always known something was missing. An old and dear friend felt a prompting to get back in touch with me to teach me about the True church. It was just what I needed just when I needed it. She got me interested in learning the Gospel and then got me in touch with the local Missionaries who joined in my instructions. My life immediately started to improve and my outlook on life changed drastically for the better. Very recently I suffered 3 strokes while in the hospital the first day I was unable to form complete thoughts in my mind. I managed to pray 3 words repeatedly. "God . . . Please . . . Help." The Lord heard my prayers and answered them by the very next day. By the next afternoon not only could I communicate but I had no permanent consequences from my strokes. Five months ago I was an agnostic, having no faith. In less than Six months this church has turned me into a believer, enough so that I could call upon my Lord God to bless me and to save my life. He did so out of love and caring.

How I live my faith

I go with the Missionaries in my branch to try to help spread the Gospel. I try to lend my unique prospective to their teachings. Being a recent convert myself I believe I have an outlook on our church that many people new to the church may find helpful. As I get more callings to teach or whatever I am called to do I will throw myself into it.
