Hi I'm Rebekah (aka Reba)

I'm the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in Texas. I was converted when I was 12. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My hobbies include: scrapbooking, cooking, hanging out with my friends, relaxing, sleeping, rock climbing, running, Tough Mudder, colorguard, Hula dancing, roller derby, fishing, camping, etc. I have 4 siblings: 1 biological sister, 1 step sister, and 2 adopted siblings (whom are the light of my life) I'm currently seeking a degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling and debating on picking up a second major in Spanish. I'm interested in a lot of things: marathon running, Tough Mudder competitions, healthy eating, Pinterest, large event planning, owning my own home, etc.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it gives me a reason to live. I have a goal in life: to return to my Heavenly Father. It provides me with a comfort of knowing that when we die, we will still be with our family and our friends. I'm a Mormon because I am of a peculiar people who strive to live better everyday. I'm a Mormon because my friends are not, and I feel like they need an example. I know that the Church is True and that I'm supposed to be where I have been placed. God does have a plan for everybody, and this is just one phase in mine. I know that our prophet is the true prophet and receives his counsel from the Lord. I know without the gospel in my life, my life is nothing but darkness. I know that with the Church, the burdens of school and everyday living are lifted off of my shoulders. I know that because I am constantly watched, the temptation to break the Word of Wisdom isn't as strong. I know that without the Church, I have nothing to strive for or to gain. This is where I'm supposed to be, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

How I live my faith

I am active in Church, but haven't received any callings yet. I help and support those in the Church who have been ordained and sustained. I help out Young Single Adult representatives plan activities for the group to do. I also help around the campus that I attend.
