Hi I'm Amelia Wallace

I write novels. I rock climb for a passion. I believe in the power of love. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am working toward becoming an author of young adult fiction. I hope that through my writing I can influence people for good, and also help those who struggle to know that they are not alone. I enjoy rock climbing and just ran my first marathon. I have made it a point to acquire an extensive amount of skills and am currently teaching myself to code. I love my family and friends more than anything else on this earth. I'm passionate about music and I love the outdoors. I am also a big film buff and can almost always name any film and the actors in it. I love being surrounded by people but also understand the importance of having moments of peace and stillness. I believe that love can heal everything and conquer all and I try to be passionate in all I say and do.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the church, I still felt that finding my own testimony and faith of the Gospel was necessary for me to be happy living these principles. As I tested my faith and prayed for a confirmation as to whether or not these teachings were true, I felt a feeling deep inside my heart that I had always known. It was as if I was remembering something I had long ago forgotten. I am Mormon because the Gospel has helped strengthen me in times of need; it brings me peace, confidence, and assurance; it also gives me something to live for.

How I live my faith

I serve as an "index coordinator" in my current ward. This means that I have the opportunity to train others on how to "index" documents (censuses, birth & death certificates, ship charters, etc.) By doing this we have created an extensive database that allows for people all over the world to do family history. I have a powerful testimony of family history. I have spent the last few years working on my father's family's work and although most of the information I work on or pictures I look through are for people who are long dead, I feel them with me as I have gone through hard times. They are the angels that support and help guide me home to my Father in Heaven. I struggle each day. I make mistakes like everyone, but I try and do. I love the gospel and I love the people in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
