Hi I'm Dale

I grew up in Pasadena, Texas. I am a high school math teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been LDS all my life. My dad has also been a member all his life and was the only active member in his family of 5 other siblings, but my mom converted from being a Lutheran at marriage. I am the first born of fraternal twins and I have two older sisters and two older brothers. I am a dad of two children and currently have three step-children. I earned my BS in Mathematics. I like to play raquetball and travel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am still a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is a second testament of Jesus Christ and that we have a living prophet on the earth today. I know that the authority of Jesus Christ and his gospel have been restored through Joseph Smith. I also know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the Plan of Salvation, I can be with my family forever as long as I am obedient and faithful. I have had three siblings and a father pass away, but I know I will be with them again. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me hope in this chaotic world.

How I live my faith

I am the adult Sunday School teacher and a home teacher. As a home teacher, I am assigned two families that I visit every month in their home. I am there for the spiritual and temporal needs of the family. If needs arise, I try to take care of them myself or find others you can take care of it. My wife and I used to be in the Nursey teaching and playing with 18 months - 3 year olds. It is always great to serve where ever they need you.
