Hi I'm Bryan

I live in NYC, I'm a husband to an amazing wife, I'm a runner, I work in finance as a small business banker, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A few years ago, a friend asked me to run a marathon. I thought he was mad! I finally accepted the challenge (it took some convincing), and now I'm a distance runner. I guess we're all distance runners; life is much like the course of a marathon. There are hills, flats, a starting line, and (though a surprise to most) a clear measurement of our performance when we cross the finish line. Thankfully marathons are filled with aid stations, cheering crowds, the occasional high-five, and of course the medal at the end. I have been blessed to run the race of life for 30 years, and counting... Over the course, I have certainly seen hills! I have been blessed to stand on the top of hills, to admire from the base, and to forge up new hills with the support of fans consisting of family and friends (everyone needs a loyal fan-base).

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I always believed in God. I prayed to Him and I acknowledged His ability to answer (my) prayers. You could say I have always been a Christian, though my religious evolvement was limited in my youth. It was during those same years as a youth that I learned the same lesson we all do, there are lots of challenges in life, and we all need help! Moreover, I realized I could not become the man I envisioned, in some future version of me, without divine intervention. By the time I was a teenager, I realized that "what" I needed was more than just a "what," it was a "who." And "who" I needed was a Savior. I read The Book of Mormon for the first time when I was 17... it captivated me and it changed my life! It taught me who Jesus Christ is, it taught me of His gospel, and it spoke peace to my soul! Eventually, I prayed to God to confirm that what I read was true. My answer came, and because of the answer God gave me, I'm a Mormon. I have been blessed to know the gospel plan because of the comprehensive teachings of Jesus Christ found in His church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith
