Hi I'm Kay

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a currently a college student. I hard towards my goals, but also like to relax and do things that I find enjoyable. I love anything that has to do with the outdoors, any and all sports, and just being with people. One of my greatest joys in life is spending time with family and loved ones. There is no better feeling than loving others and knowing you are loved.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as in the LDS church. It is easy to think that is the reason that I am a member of the Church, but that is not why. I am a member because I have asked God if this religion is true and have in many instances in my life received a confirmation that it is true. The gospel of Jesus Christ in my life through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints brings me the greatest joy. Knowing that I am a daughter of God here with a purpose brings light and perspective into my daily life. Simply put, I am a member of this church because I know without any doubt that it is the true and living church on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

In today's world it is easy to fear. We can fear many things, but through Christ and his atonement we can dismiss fear and have faith if we but trust in him. He is all knowing. He knows what is best for us and will not put anything in our path that we cannot overcome. We may not be able to do it alone, but with the enabling power of His atonement we can do all things. The funny thing is that I just looked up and read the heading and it reads "how I live my faith" I thought is said "how I live by faith". My answer actually wouldn't change too much. I live my faith by striving to live without fear and trusting in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Living my faith is doing the things that I know to be true, which can easily be phrased as following Christ's example by striving to be more like Him.
