Hi I'm Lilly Ann Simmons

I'm a return missionary from the Kobe Japan Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family will say that i'm a very quiet person. But if you get me out of my shell, i thrive. I like to read. My classmates called me a book worm. I always had a book out. I love listening to Japanese and Korean music. Their music styles are cleaner and more presentable for my tastes then some of my country's music. I love their cultures and i hope to go to both places some day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because at first my parents made me go to church.I was just following their example. I grew up copying them. but i didn't understand what i was learning and saying. As i was growing up, i thought it was such a hassle. That i could be spending that time at church doing other things. As i became more aware of what i was learning, i felt a peacefulness come over me. It became more obvious when i found out my dad was having heart problems. and i wasn't there for him. i was at girls camp. the spirit came to me that night saying that everything was going to be alright. my dad was going to be alright. and i believed it. Now, i know the church is the true church of Christ and Joseph Smith did restore the gospel. we do have a living prophet on this earth today. and through his words will we be able to know Heavenly father and Jesus Christ. and be with them again some day.

How I live my faith

I lived by my faith by sharing the gospel with the Japanese people. i was on my mission from May 1, 2012 thru October 8, 2013. I served in the Japan Kobe mission.
