Hi I'm Sara

I have two kids. I am a stay at home Mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in California, I now live in Montana. My husband and I have two Children and one on the way. I am a stay at home Mom. I keep busy keeping up with my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised a "Mormon" my whole life, but when I was in High School I had to decide for myself who I was, and what I wanted to do with my life. My friends were all different religions, and all believed different things and it was time for me to decide what I believed. I went to my friends different churches and wanted to see what else was out there, but when I did I realized I felt something special when I went to the LDS church. I had read out of the book of Mormon many times before, but for the first time I wanted to know for myself if it was true. And when I did, I couldn't deny the overwhelming feeling of the Holy Ghost come over me. I knew that the Book of Mormon was true, and if the Book of Mormon was true than Joseph Smith was a true Prophet, and everything else about the LDS Church was true. I love the feeling of the Holy Ghost and when I am living the principles that pertain to the Gospel I am able to have that spirit with me. Knowing and having a testimony of the plan of salvation is what gives me strength to endure the inevitable trials that come in this life. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that the Mormon church is true and I can't deny it.

How I live my faith

As a Mother of two children, I have the opportunity to shape the future. I live my faith by implementing the family values the lds church support. I live my faith by living up to my divine role of being a mother. I live my faith by participating in the women organization of the church called the " Relief Society". The purpose of the Relief Society is to increase faith and personal righteousness, strengthen families and homes, seek out and help those in need.

What is the Relief Society?

Sara
The Relief Society is an organization set up in the Church for women 18 and older. Relief Society meetings are held every Sunday, where the women gather together to be uplifted and edified. The Purpose of Relief Society is to build faith and personal righteousness, strengthen home and families, and to help those in need. The Relief Society's motto is "Charity never faileth". Women in the Relief Society look out for other women eveywhere, whether it be bringing dinner to a neighbor in need, or making a quilt for a newborn baby halfway around the world. Women in Relief Society are striving to live up to their divine role and potential of being women. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Sara
We do not worship Joseph Smith, we worsihp God the Eternal Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. We believe Joseph Smith to be a Prophet of God. We believe in modern day revelation, and that there is currently a Prohet of God living right now. The Prophet we sustain today as a Prophet, Seer, and Revelator is Thomas S. Monson.
