Hi I'm Jess

I grew up in Australia. I love the beach and playing sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

At age 19 I went to School at a Catholic University in Sydney Australia to study sport and exercise science. I did a year of my degree before I decided to serve a full-time mission and share the gospel. Putting my education on hold I recieved a call to go to Utah, USA and be a missionary. Before leaving on my mission my family moved to Auckland New Zealand where I spent 3 months preparing to go to the united states. Before my mission I spent a lot of time at the beach, tanning or swimming. I wish could surf but I haven't yet aquired that skill.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family where we were taught the principles of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was baptized into the church at age eight. My parents always encouraged high moral standards and and taught me to live a life like Jesus Christ. I loved attending church and even though there where times I wondered why it was so important I continued to go. As I grew older and learnt more about the religion I belonged to I grew to undestand it's meaning and truth. I now understand for myself through study and prayer that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints is true and led by a living day Prophet. The Book of Mormon is a true book and necessary to understand Jesus Christ gospel, I love to read it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving as a missionary in a foreign country. Each day I serve others by teaching them about Jesus Christ and how we can come closer to him.
