Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work as a Construction Manger. I enjoy building things and love adventure. I grew up in Southern California but have since lived in Hawaii, Idaho, Venezuela, Utah, Mexico, and Maryland. I have an amazing wife. She is from Scotland, and we were married in the Preston, England temple in 2011. We love spending time outdoors. Some of our favorite activities include mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, fly fishing, and sailing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon. My parents taught me from a young age about God and his plan of happiness. As a teen I learned for myself through study and prayer that the things which my parents had taught me were true. I learned that God really does love me, and has a plan for me and my family. I made a conscious choice to follow him and try my best each day to do all the he expects of me. Since that time countless experiences have reaffirmed my testimony of this. I am so grateful for my wife and my family, and for the knowledge that we can return to live together forever.

How I live my faith

Living ones faith begins in the home. My wife and I make sure to pray and read the scriptures together each day. This brings the spirit of the Lord into our home, and gives us strength and peace that we each need in our lives. We look forward to the opportunity to bringing children into our family and are doing our best to prepare an environment rich with love and the spirit of the Lord. I also love sharing the message of Christ's restored church. My wife and I spend time each week making visits with and assisting the full-time missionaries in our area. We focus the majority of our visits on teaching those who are interested in learning about the church, or who have recently joined the church. I also find that many friends and coworkers are interested in the way that I live my faith, and I enjoy sharing with them my beliefs and how it has impacted in my life.
