Hi I'm Cassandra Cooper

I grew up in Rhode Island, I love music, laughing, and reading, I love to dance, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho, I love writing , and i am known for my love to dance, my bright smile, amazing sense of humor, and contagious laughter. I have a big family, and have been a proud member of the church for my whole life. I love to cook and listen to music, and will be serving my mission in the Alabama Birmingham Mission. I was born and raised in Rhode Island, but my parents Liberian culture has had a very big influence in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

For the longest time, I was a Mormon, but I was not sure why. Then, on a trip to Palmyra, New York, I went in the Sacred Grove and I prayed with everything I had to know of the truth, and the truth was shown to me. I felt it in my heart that this was the true gospel of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I sat in the sacred grove with tears streaming down my face, and I felt so much comfort and peace because my prayer had been answered. Once I knew this church was true, I made a promise to Heavenly Father, that day; I promised that I would never fall away. How could I fall away from something that made me so happy? Something that suddenly made everything in my life make sense? I am Mormon because I know without a fraction of a doubt that being a part of this church has helped me grow, improve myself, and has taught me who I am and what my identity and essence is as a daughter of Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because this is who I was always meant to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by incorporating its teachings and values in everything I do. Whether it is in my school life, or the associations I make with people on a day to day basis. I live my faith by doing what I know and feel is right, and by sharing the gospel. I live my faith by trying my best in all that I do and by always setting goals for myself to become better.
