Hi I'm Coral Lee Ables Gibson

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a widowed mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, retired schoolteacher, and an ex-Marine. The most important thing in my life is my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I can't imagine being anything else. Before I was baptised at 13, I went to the methodist, Baptist, Pentecostal, and many others. I don't have anything negative to say about any of them, but being a Mormon makes me feel complete. It makes me joyful and happy. I was away from the church for a few years. When I returned about 15 years ago, it was like coming home. My testimony has grown and strenghtened by leaps and bounds. I am so grateful to have a testimony. I treasure it and guard it by working at being the kind of person the Lord would not be ashamed of. I love the Lord and my church. I read the Book of Mormon and the Bible daily because it keeps me close to Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I pray and read my scriptures daily. I pay my tithing joyfully. I attend my church meetings. I volunteer to do church Indexing so information will be available to others on-line. I love working on genealogy, and helping others to do theirs.
