Hi I'm Andrew

I love Contact sports such as Football and Rugby. I love helping and serving others and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life. I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am currently serving a mission in the California Long Beach Mission. I love to play sports. My two favorite sports is Football and Rugby. Growing up i was always picked on for being the "Little Guy" when i started playing football my 8th grade year, i was able to prove to others that i'm not the "LIttle Guy" and they stopped picking on me! I played Wide Reciever, Corner, Free Saftey and Strong Saftey in Football. In Rugby i played Wing and Flanker. After my mission i plan on attending Snow Collage and playing Football or Rugby with them. I love camping, Moutain Bikeing, Horseback Rideing, Golfing, Fishing anything that is outdoors i love to do! I am the youngest out of 9. I have 5 sisters and 3 brothers.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My mom is a convert. I love her story on how she became a member of our church. My mom is the only one out of her family (other then her mom) To be a member of our Church. My mom has taught me many things that she has learned when she became a member. She has shared her testomony with me many times, and it has helped my testomony grow. Hearing my mom's story on how she was a convert of this church has gotten me more excited about doing missionary work. Sharing the gospel with others is the coolest thing ever! I'm loving every minute of my mission! The Gospel has blessed her and my life and It's cool to think about that i'm like the missionaries that came and talked to my mom and helped her grow and come to love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and come to love her loving Heavenly Father. now i'm blessing others by sharing the same message. I know that what i am doing is right, by helping others come closer to christ. In high School i wasn't really big into church. I was only going to church because my parents wanted me to go. My two best friends helped me change my attitude towards church. They set the example for me and helped me come closer to my Heavenly Father by serving a full-time mission. One of my friends is in Italy and the other is in Oregon. Having them as an example in my life has helped me change my life and has helped my testomony grow, come to love reading the Book of Mormon and to love serving others. I'm so thankful for my wonderful family and friends and the great example they are to me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by listening to the prophet and by following the coucils of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I prepare the day by reading my scriptures to invite the spirit so it can show me where i need to go, what i need to do and what i need to say. Having the Holy Ghost has blessed my life. I've been able to avoid dangerous situations, temptations and it has helped my testomonie of the church grow even stronger. Before i left on my mission i was a ward missionary. I was the only ward missionary at the time. I would go out with the ward mission leader and go visit some of the non-members and the members of the church. It was a really cool experience. It has helped me better prepare myself for my mission. Before i became an Elder i was the assitant to the Bishop. I helped the young men that are my age with teaching assignments and upcomming activities. That would help them in there Scouting and preparing them for a mission. It was an awesome experience! We have alot of great young men in our ward who are going to be great missionaries.  Our ward has a great Scouting Program.I remember when i was working on my Eagle Project my ward was there to support me. It wasn't easy but with the help of the members in my ward i was able to finish my project 8 hours before my 18th Birthday!!!! Our Young Mens president was a wonderful leader and example to us Young Men. he helped me stay motivated when times during my project got rough and i didn't think i could accomplish it. With his help of my young mens President and the members of my ward i finished the project and can proudly say "I'm an Eagle Scout".
