Hi I'm Ada Uhrle

I'm Samoan. Currently serving in the New Zealand Auckland Mission. I love all people. I love God, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a chocoholic..shopaholic..and happy chappy person!! I have an interest in helping people and getting to meet new people. I'm family oriented and at the same time I'm an outgoing person. I love to find adventures. Music and dancing is what keeps me going. Little kids have a special place in my heart and I have a big capacity to love. I love to have fun in a good way :) With the abilities that I have been blessed with, I am now using them to serve the Lord as a full-time missionary in helping others see the light and come to the light...mostly to help others to COME UNTO CHRIST!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in a different religion, and as I grew older, i sought the truth for my myself. The LDS (mormon) church was introduced to me by my idol and mentor..my mother. And by the power of prayer i knew it is true, everything about this church is true. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. I have gained a strong testimony by the counsel and manifestation of the Holy Ghost. I know the love of God for us is unconditional. If you knew something to be true and denied it, would you have peace in mind? So that's why I'M A MORMON!! I felt it to be true. I knew it to be true. And I can't deny it.

How I live my faith

Prior to my mission, I used to be the secretary for the youth (young women..girls from 12-18) in both our ward and stake. I enjoy being around the youth, and I always try to lead by example. The best way that I live my faith is being a missionary..and being THE missionary the Lord expects me to be. I have promised my Savior that I would always share His gospel in all that I do and say....to "be an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity" (1 Timothy 4:12).

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Ada Uhrle
Mormons do not worship Joseph Smith. However, we do respect him as a prophet of God, and honor him for being an instrument in the Lords hands in bringing back the Lord's church upon the earth in its fulness. Show more Show less
