Hi I'm Alyssa

I'm from the Philippines. A young single adult. A manager. A mormon!

About Me

I really wanted to serve on a full-time mission, to help Him hasten His work, to change and influence lives of other people and earn my own exaltation someday.

Why I am a Mormon

Actually, I grew up in the church and the basics of the gospel principles was just normal for me to hear and I was just used to it to say that I believe and know for those things to be true but later on, I started to gain my own testimony by reading the scriptures, constant prayers, and serving Him. With that I felt that the church is really true though there are really not artifacts or tangible evidences to prove most of our doctrines, the Holy Ghost is there to manifest light and truth unto us and that's what makes The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints the only true and living church of God.

How I live my faith

I strive to go to church every Sunday and strive each week to be worthy of the sacred emblems. I try hard to live the gospel everyday especially at the workplace, to be an example of humbleness, obedience, patience and kindness, to be like Him and to let others feel His love through me.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Alyssa
We have our own ways of nourishing our faith like prayer, scripture study, renewing our covenants by partaking of the sacrament weekly, service and by keeping the commandments. Constant belief needs constant action for it to become a value, a living faith. For in the scriptures we are told that "faith without works is dead". We need to have constant good deeds for our faith to keep on growing. Show more Show less
