Hi I'm Kim Ashliman

I'm a Mormon. I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I love my Savior.

About Me

I have been married to my sweetheart for 10 years and have 3 beautiful children. (And I'm not just saying they are beautiful because I'm biased...they really are beautiful) :) I am learning to garden and can my own food and its SOOO exciting! Working the earth and using your hands to grow and preserve your own food. Watching it grow and caring for it. It is such satisfying work. I love to scrapbook, camp, run, ride mountain bikes, snuggle with my kidlets, go on dates with my hubby, ride horses, garden, and care for friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am not perfect. I don't have the perfect body, or hair, or makeup. My house is often messy and lived in. My car is barely running and has cheerios on the seat. My to do list is sometimes forgotten on the fridge. I am often late to appointments, if I remember them. My heart breaks with remembering every hurtful thing I have ever said. But I WILL make sure that my children know that I love them everyday of my life. I will show my husband every day how much he means to me. I will perform acts of kindness to those around me. And I KNOW that my Savior loves me. This gospel of Jesus Christ is the most perfect thing that there is. Through this great church I am learning everyday to become a better person, feel Gods love for me, and serve others.

How I live my faith

I work in the womens organization as the second counselor. My duty is to plan activities to teach and care for all of the sisters in our area. I also organize play groups for any and all stay at home moms who need to come together for friendship and support. I love what I do. The only way to truly rise above your own problems is to help others with thiers. I teach my children how to be happy. How to pray and be kind to others. I LOVE this church and its great work to keep families together forever.
