Hi I'm Brian Neff

I grew up in Salt Lake City, the second son in a large family. And you guessed it, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life. While that's a pretty easy thing to say, it's true. That doesn't mean that life has always been easy. Nor does it mean that I don't long for things that will never be a part of my life. But what it does mean is that I know I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and provides a path for me that adds richness and beauty to my life. And the good news is this: He expects me to do the same for others. I'm not always good at that, but when I reach out to others, I experience a little bit of His joy - a joy that makes my life richer and more abundant.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in God, the eternal Father, his Son, Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost. I believe that Christ established His church one last time on the earth in preparation for His second coming. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints holds the keys of the priesthood that are essential for the gathering that is now taking place - prior to the advent of the day of the Lord. While that is a lot to consider, I know it to be true. You can too. The challenge is to pray with a sincere heart and listen quietly as you receive that same witness I've received.

How I live my faith

Each morning as I pray, I ask my Heavenly Father to direct my course for that day. I know that by keeping the commandments and following the promptings of the Holy Spirit, each day will be a little bit better than the one before. At our home, we are busy with church service. It's the one sure way to stay grounded in a turbulent world.
