Hi I'm Kasha Trillo

I'm a Mormon. I am from Delta, Utah. I have a testimony of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know its true!

About Me

I am from a small farming community in central Utah. The town that I live in is named Delta. I have been called to serve in the California Riverside Mission. I am somewhat nervous about leaving a small farm town and moving into a big city. I am so excited though to be able to serve a mission and teach the people of California!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a LDS home, but my mother and I are the only active ones in my family. The gospel has been such a blessing in my life. I know that it is a true church. Through some hard times of my childhood, I had to decide if I really wanted to go to church. I had to choose whether I was going for myself or just my mom. I chose that I was going for myself. For two years I was inactive, due to personal hardships, but I never doubted that the gospel wasn't true. My mother worked a job for six years that had her working on Sunday, I hated it. The idea of going to church alone was not something that I liked. I knew that even though my mother had to work, it would bless me to keep going to church by myself. The gospel has given me strength to live each day. I know that the Savior suffered and died for me. My life would be so different if I had not had a mother like I do that taught me the principles of the gospel. Without the gospel I would be so lost. Seminary has helped strengthen my testimony each day as I learn the gospel every single day.

How I live my faith

I love to be of service to people. There is no greater joy to me than making new friends. The joy of helping someone in need is really great to me. I try to help in anyway that I can. When I get a calling or asked to do a certain task I love to make sure that I get things done! I love to work hard and challenge myself.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Kasha Trillo
My own personal testimony is my own belief in Jesus Christ and how I have come to know that he is the true messiah. My testimony is different than other personal testimonies. Its how I have been able to gain a stronger love and come to know who Jesus Christ is. I now know that my own personal testimony is something that is just for myself, but also to share with others. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true restored church of this time. Show more Show less
